Abbie attended her first Oscar soiree on Sunday. We went over to our friend Megan's house to watch the Academy Awards on her HDTV TV. Now we have to explain to Abbie why she's not allowed to watch TV on an HDTV instead the old-fashioned TV we have at home. Someday when she has a job and earns her own money she can buy any kind of TV she wants. But while she's living in our house, under our roof, she has to not watch the TV we purchased.
