To celebrate Abbie's birthday, we invited a few people over for some cake and a champagne toast. Abbie wore her party dress and was on her best behavior.
Since every one year old needs a birthday cake, Mommy made a batch of special cupcakes for Abbie. We put a #1 candle on top, lit the candle, and watched as she stared at the flame. Mommy helped Abbie blow out the candle and Daddy took the paper off of the cupcake.
Then Abbie daintily bit into it and enjoyed every bite.The following day the left-over cupcakes magically became muffins and Abbie had one for breakfast.
