Ferry

Again I wonder, how did folks do this kid-raising without a digital camera? Not only is it great to be able to take 100 pictures in hopes that one will turn-out, the view screen provides minutes of entertainment. We spent about 15 minutes on the ferry taking a picture of Abbie and then turning the camera around so she could see it.

Our camera is ancient on the digital timeline - at least three years old. So the view screen is tiny. Some weekend when we're not going to Sequim or Victoria, we'll make it down to Fry's to get a new digital camera with a big ole view screen. And with a shorter delay - we have many pictures of the top of Abbie's head since by the time the camera takes the picture, Abbie has changed position.
