New Eating Trick

Abbie finds it hilarious to stand up while she is eating. Mommy puts her in the high chair and adjusts the tray to the closest fitting setting. Then Abbie wiggles herself into a standing position. Mommy returns and sternly tells Abbie to sit down because it's not safe to be standing up in the high chair like a crazy girl. Abbie smiles and then makes herself rigid so it's impossible to bend her body into a seated position. Mommy gently pokes Abbie in the ribs so she giggles and loosens up. Mommy quickly gets her seated and locks the tray into position. And we start the entire thing over again.

(Those are raisins, not rabbit droppings. And yes, Mommy could use the high chair straps to keep her seated, but food tends to congregate in the strap crevices so we've removed the straps to better be able to clean the food out of the crevices. )
