Every new home owner must make a trip to
Swanson's to dream about the garden that will be planted. Abbie's new house has lots of lots of lots of English Ivy (a true devil vine. Seriously, who plants this stuff in their yard?) which all needs to be ripped out and replaced with a less evil ground cover. And some trees; Abbie's yard needs some new trees that will grow to be very, very tall.
But better than all of the plants at Swanson's is the collection of red wagons. We put Abbie in the wagon and Daddy dragged her all over the five acres of Swanson's. Abbie loved it. She was a little nervous at first and held on to the sides of the wagon with white knuckles. But once she got used to it she started to scoot around in the wagon and really enjoyed her ride. Especially when she got to wear her fancy hat.
