Blueberries!

Ah, there is nothing better than frozen blueberries for making a messy breakfast.

One of the most joyous parts of being Abbie's mommy has been watching her sense of humor develop. Her giggles are truly infectious and there are few things better than making Abbie laugh. But now she is also becoming aware of how to make people (well ... me) laugh. The sticking-out-of-the-blueberry-stained-tongue made me laugh yesterday morning so Abbie did it again and again. And when I brought the camera out to photograph what she was doing, she straightened up a little and opened up even broader than before.

("What's that thing on her lip?" you may be thinking. "Is it a scab from a split lip she got after taking a nasty spill on her truck?" Hmmmmm, could be. But after the stitches dissolve and the scab falls off, the doctor assured us the scar will hardly be noticeable.)
