It's been a little chilly here in Seattle and Abbie
refuses to wear mittens. One can put the mittens on her, it's just that as soon as the mittens are on, and she's opened and closed her fingers a few times, she puts the first mitten in her mouth and bites it off. Then she uses the free hand to remove the other mitten. She then hands both of the mittens to Mom and giggles. The whole operation is over by the time the stroller hits the end of the driveway. So, we had to find another way to keeps those little fingers from turning blue.

The solution? Snuggy-bugging. Mommy puts Abbie in the stroller and then tucks the blanket all around her shoulder, arms, and as much of her legs as the blanket will cover. Abbie is willing to keep her arms in the blanket so it keeps her fingers from becoming icicles.
(The blanket in these photos is the same blanket Uncle Bob used when he was a baby. Thanks, Uncle Bob, for letting us borrow it.)
