Sunday

After breakfast on Sunday (with Terri at The Dish) we four decided to go to the zoo. One typically thinks about going to the zoo in the summer when it's hot outside, crowded at the zoo, and the animals are lethargic. Sunny and mid-50s is really the way to see the zoo.

The hippos were out of the water so we could truly see how large they are. They were eating sticks which Abbie enjoyed watching.

Abbie is pointing to a giraffe so Terri and Daddy can see. The giraffes were in their "barn" (a metal shed which made Daddy sad since he thinks no one, no animals, and no things should be housed in a metal shed.)
