The sandbox

It's been several weekends in the making, but Abbie has a sandbox!

First there was the trip to Home Depot (not pictured, the internet search for good sandbox plans.) Daddy and Abbie selected the wood and then carted it over to the saw area so we could have the fine professionals at Home Depot cut it to the right size.



Then began the actual building of the sandbox. Abbie is very clever with the hammer and managed to get the seat banged just so before turning the hammer back over to Daddy.

Much ado, and fifteen or so fifty pound bags of sand later, Abbie has a sandbox. It's in the back yard so Mommy can watch Abbie play which she is in the kitchen. Abbie and the girlzzzz have sure enjoyed being outside digging and playing with the sand.
