While Daddy was still in Denver, Mommy, Terri, and Abbie ventured to Sequim Thursday night to ready themselves for the Lavender Festival on Friday. At the Lavender Festival Abbie got to drink lavender lemonade and sit on Gramma's lap while eating vanilla ice cream. Yes, we know that while at the Lavender Festival one should have lavender flavored ice cream. But one of the things we learned at the Lavender Festival is that adding lavender to food makes the food item taste like soap.
