Friday Adventure

Mommy and Abbie took the train to Portland last Friday. We got up very early to catch the 6:30 AM bus to the Amtrak station so we could catch the 7:30 AM bus to Portland. It was very, very, VERY crowded at the train station but Abbie was mostly content to sit in her stroller while Mommy waited in line to get our tickets and then our seat assignments.

The gods were smiling on us because Mommy and Abbie were seated at a table on the completely full train. Best of all the foursome next to us at the other table decided to spend the entire train ride in the dining car playing cards. They very sweetly told us their plan and invited us to stretch out at their table. Abbie and Mommy were able to have an entire 4-person table to themselves.
