Impromptu vacation

The nanny and her daughter were sick Wednesday and Thursday and couldn't come to Abbie's house so Mommy had an impromptu vacation. What did she and Abbie do?

Well, Wednesday they went to the Ravenna Eckstein toddler gym (which is only open on Wednesdays so Mommy never gets to go.) The gym is full of scooting toys, a bouncy house, a small trampoline, and about a dozen or so toddlers. Just outside of the toddler gym is a great playground with some new equipment. In the photo Abbie is instructing Mommy to eat some of the "oatmeal" she's just fixed.

After the playground and toddler gym Mommy and Abbie headed home via Top Pot Doughnuts.  "Mommy are doing?" Abbie asked repeatedly after driving into the Top Pot parking lot. Once inside though, Abbie managed to figure out what to do with no further instructions from Mommy. "Dat one" she said, pointing to the one with pink frosting and no sprinkles.

Thursday Mommy and Abbie went to Sequim to visit Gramma, Gramma Enza, Uncle Bob, and Aunt Jennifer. While there Mommy, Gramma and Abbie went for a little walk to pick (and eat) blackberries.
