Pre-Thanksgiving

Abbie and Mommy started preparations for Thanksgiving last weekend by making the rustic style bread needed for this year's stuffing recipe.

It used to be that Abbie's favorite part of baking was the flour; she enjoys spooning the flour into the measuring cup, smoothing the top with a knife, and then dumping the flour into the bowl. However, Mommy has now introduced her to kneading which might be her new favorite part of baking.

First Mommy started the kneading and then Abbie chimed in, "Abbie do, Abbie do." So then it was Abbie's turn. She's remarkably adept at working with the bread. She'll get to practice her kneading skills again tomorrow when she makes cinnamon rolls.
