As Abbie and Mommy parked themselves behind a family that had come early and set up their chairs, the family sweetly offered to scoot together so there would be room right at the edge of the street for Abbie. S-C-O-R-E. Abbie rewarded them for their kindness by being super cute and pointing and ooohing and ahhhhing at all of the appropriate points.
Her favorite part of the parade was seeing Santa Claus at the end. I don't believe this newfound love of Santa will mean an actual photo on Santa's lap though. She seems to enjoy Santa from a distance but doesn't really want to get to close to the guy.
