The highlight of the Missouri trip for Abbie was spending time with her bff, Auntie M. Auntie M does all kinds of wonderful things that Mommy and Daddy don't do. Like ...
...carry Abbie practically the entire hike. And Auntie M carries Abbie on her hip, not like the cop-out backpack style Mommy uses when she's tired and has to carry Abbie.
...loan Abbie fancy accessories like a Christmas reindeer antlers headband. (The Christmas reindeer antlers headband may have technically been cousin Ainsley's, but Cousin Ainsley seemed pretty willing to allow Abbie to wear it.)
Auntie M also lent Abbie her scarf which lent a certain je ne sais quoi to Abbie's outfit. 
... take Abbie to Sonic and buy her Ocean Water (which might sound healthful, but is Sprite and blue coconut flavor) and popcorn chicken.For breakfast.
