The Beach!

Abbie and Mommy had a little road trip to the beach. Long Beach, WA to be specific. Fortunately for us there was no tsunami to force us to cancel our plans.

We had a lovely time in spite of the rain and the wind and the rain and the rain. It is March, after all, what did we expect? We established that Abbie does not like to walk on a stormy beach. Mommy had to do a lot of cajolling and tricking to get Abbie to hike very far. Tricks like letting Abbie be the Leader all the time while playing Follow-the-Leader and giving Abbie a back pack ride only on the way TO the lighthouse but not on the way back to the car.

All in all we both had a great time. There was a lot of ice cream eating and hotel pool swimming so Abbie had plent of her kind of fun.
