Last weekend was one of those weekends where we didn't have much planned so we could just do what we wanted. Phil was tied up with some work stuff so Abbie and Mommy had a girls day.
The day started with popovers and jam for breakfast. Then we went to get a haircut for Mom. Abbie entertained herself with paper and pen while Mom got her hair cut. After the haircut we went to University Village to paint pottery. It is difficult to see in this photo but Abbie has painted a little crow. She is very careful with painting and loves to get a brush just exactly the right size so she can paint without making a mess.
After painting pottery we went to get ice cream. No special girls day is complete without having a little ice cream. No matter that it was in the low 50s; there is no temperature that is too cold for ice cream.
