Daddy, Uncle Pat, Mommy and Abbie wandered around Denver on Sunday looking for an interesting place for brunch. We finally decided on Steuben's because there was a sign declaring they served good food and the menu included Eggs Benedict. However they did not begin serving this good food until 10 am so we had about 30 minutes to kill.
We arrived back at the restaurant after walking two blocks in 30 minutes. However, we noticed a different place called Bump and Grind a block over with a very, very long queue. Now, if you have a choice between a restaurant with no line and one with a very long line you really owe it to yourself to investigate the long lined place.

Turns out Bump and Grind features a weekend petticoat bruncheon with patron-abusing drag queen waitresses. Naturally we decided to join the long line because what could be more wholesome and family friendly than brunch served by grouchy men in drag?
We can report that the food was delish and the waitresses as drag queeny as one could hope. Just don't go there to celebrate your birthday. I've never seen a raunchier or messier rendition of Happy Birthday.
