Democratic Convention

We've been watching The Convention at our house. Tuesday night, Mommy popped some popcorn and she and Abbie got cozy on the couch and watched Hillary's speech. Abbie's reaction? "Dat's not Obama." Each time Hillary said 'Obama' Abbie reported, 'Dat's not Obama.' Wednesday night Daddy was home so he, Mommy, and Abbie watched Bill's speech. Again, Abbie reported, 'dat's not Obama.'

Finally Thursday night came and Abbie got to see her buddy Obama speak. "Who's that, Abbie?"
"Dat's Obama."

We're working on pronouncing "President Obama" and expect to have it perfected by the time he's sworn into office.
