Even more from Portland

While in Portland we stayed at a cool modern hotel, Hotel Modera. There was a great courtyard that was fun to hang out on. At night they lit the fire pits and served wine. Abbie and Mommy and then Abbie and Daddy played a chase game before many people started to show up.

(While waiting for the bus in Portland, Mommy was talking to Grandpa on the phone when Abbie decided it would be funny to run away from Mommy. Mommy ran after Abbie and it then became a game. After catching her, Mommy lectured Abbie on the evils of running away from Mommy in a strange town, near a busy road, while waiting for a bus. Mommy then promised we would play a fun chase game when we got to our hotel. Daddy was less than thrilled when he arrived to Portland and realized he too was expected to play the chase game.)
