Broadway Bob

Hit play. Now hit play again. And again. In fact, if there is an "endless loop" option, go ahead and select that. Now you know what we did this evening. Listened to "They call me Broadway Bob" over and over and over. Mommy was able to take an entire load of laundry off of the line in the basement, and hang another entire load up all while listening to, "They call me Broadway Bob." And just when you think Bob has surely reached the conclusion, it starts again.

Broadway Bob comes from the original Electric Company. Mommy recently checked out the DVD The Best of The Electric Company from the library so we could all enjoy an "Abbie movie". It has aged well. That show is as good as Daddy and Mommy remembered, especially Easy Reader and DJ Mel Mounds. Rita Moreno plays "Broadway Bob" and sings the song in her best Broadway voice. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be available on YouTube or there would be a link.

Fortunately for you, Abbie's version is available. Enjoy.
