Abbie and Mommy are on their way to Portland for a little vacation. Originally planned as a family vacation, it became a girls' trip when Daddy decided he wanted to stay in Seattle to see Leonard Nemoy at a convention in Seattle. Thus far Mom and Abbie have taken an early, early bus ride to catch an early train to Portland. Then another bus ride to the hotel. then a trip to Powell's Books for something to read on the way home. Since the hotel has a pool, we spent a chunk of time splashing around. Now we're in the room resting.
