The introduction to fire sticks happened on July 4, 2011. No one was injured and a great time was had by all of the Duffs.

Independence Day!
(Yikes, I had intended to post this ages ago....)
There are times when I truly understand why children need two parents. If it were up to Mommy alone, Abbie would NOT be holding a sparkler until she was old enough to vote. But there are times when the mom has to step back and let the dad make the decisions. Mom gets to decide where Abbie goes to school, where she gets her medical care, and when and which immunizations to get. Daddy gets to decide when she is introduced to hand-held pyrotechnics.
