We had some crazy warm weather over the weekend. The afternoon weather was not unlike an early June day so it was a treat to have such a day in February and on a weekend no less. We spent much of the weekend outside doing fun outside activities. On Saturday Mom and Abbie went for a lovely bike ride along the Burke Gilman trail. Abbie is getting pretty good with her bike and training wheels; she's going to have to ride a bit faster to stay balanced when those wheels come off. Mom is hopeful we can get the bike thing learned this summer so she and Abbie can commute to school next year via bike.
We also spent lots of time outside with The Girls. Abbie is seen here with either Annie or Yodel. Either way, it's one of the blue egg laying chickens. She is quite good at catching the chickens; less good at helping Mom clean out the coop. But that will come with time.
